Fall 'Break'
Strange how Fall Break only seems to increase the various obligations around here. Yesterday was spent mostly at Mad Jimmy's (read: James Madison's) house at Montpelier. In what was essentially a useless performance, the MRD's helped to unveil the newest stamp issued by the Anthrax Transport Service of America. All I got out of it was a cancelled copy of the stamp. All Karen got out of it was a cancelled copy of the stamp and a swollen finger (thanks to the bee that stung her).
I was told yesterday that Mountain Spew is getting about 25 unique referrals from this site a day. Who is reading this?
Made dinner at Karen's last night...mmm, meatloaf. It had to cook about 70 minutes, though, which leads me to believe that I didn't prepare it quite right...I'll figure it out eventually. In the meantime, though, Karen's making us chicken parm tonight.
Karen tells me that the band we're guiding for POC today has a real asshole of a band director. Could get interesting...
Watched my sister's performance in Bye Bye Birdie on VHS last night, and I couldn't even believe that it was her. I've yet to talk to her about it, but if she should read this before then, Kick Ass Job, Amy!
