A New Record!

Allow me to chronicle my morning for you, gentle reader:
6:40 AM - Alarm. I promptly turn it off--presumably. I don't actually remember this happening.
7:25 AM - Open eyes. Look at clock. Holy shit.
7:26 AM - Out of bed, grab shower sandals, keys, shower basket. Oh, don't forget towel.
7:27 AM - In shower.
7:33 AM - Out of shower. Brush teeth.
7:35 AM - Back in room. Dry, dress, grab backpack and Palm.
7:42 AM - Out the door.
7:46 AM - At D-Hall. Realize I forgot my keys; the very keys I need to get into work. Decide that breakfast is important if day is going to be as shitty as it has begun.
7:52 AM - Done with breakfast. Leave D-Hall.
7:57 AM - Back at room. Knock on door. Thankfully, Dan's awake. Grab keys.
8:01 AM - At work. And only a minute late, at that!

Bowling last night...wasn't a total disaster. I only managed a 176-169-190-535, but the team took two points, so it worked out OK. Tough shot last night, though; tons of oil, so I played up the six board all night.

Got my CS test from last week back yesterday; I passed. You know the test was a hard one when the teacher comes in with bags of candy to 'cheer up' the class. I made out pretty well, with a 170/200, which equates to a B. It was acknowledged by all as a hard test, so I'm rather pleased.

As expected, GISAT 113 lab yesterday was an almost complete waste of time. For all the work we put into separating plasmids from bacteria last week, it turned out that we couldn't even look at them yesterday. Instead, we looked at prepared gels and watched an old episode of 48 Hours from the early 90s about genetic testing.

Link of the day: Orisinal has some great Flash games if you have five minutes to kill. Check them all out; I spent about 70 minutes just trying all the games last night.
