Perfection
I haven't watched any of the World Series except the first inning of Game 1, but it looks like Schilling and Johnson were pretty damn close to perfect. The Yankees' lone run thus far came on a misplayed ball in the outfield; otherwise, their offense has been completely shut down. I still can't count them out; remember 1996, when they were down 2-0 against Atlanta. They came back to win that Series in six games.
Looking back at what I wrote last night at the PMB show, I suppose I came off as being a bit ambivalent, maybe even negative, toward the show. Not so. I really enjoyed myself, as it sounded, musically, not too far from last year, when Al was still with the band. A very nice change of pace, and it was quite intimate. The crowd was still a killer, though.
In related news, Pat officially announced the New Year's tour: Avalon (Boston), E-Factory (Philly), Irving (NYC), 9:30 (DC), and the Norva. I'll be at at least two (Boston/NYC or Philly/NYC). Oh, to be at the Norva on 31 December...
