Happy Birthday Karen!
Today is Karen's 22nd birthday; email her and wish her a happy birthday! Of course, this means a kickass party tonight at her place. Rock on!
Spent the first 30 minutes of work this morning cleaning all the monitors in the lab; I don't understand why people feel the need to touch monitors. Needless to say, they were pretty filthy, but they're fine now. Unfortunately I also found two broken computers (appear to be bad floppy drives, but it's more likely an issue with the mobo). These are the second and third computers with this problem in the past couple weeks; not cool, Dell.
Meteor showers tomorrow night into Sunday morning; I hope I can stay up late enough to check it out. This happens once every 100 years, and I probably won't be around at the next occurrence.
The Tick is just an awesome show. On last night's episode, The Immortal died. The Tick gave a moving eulogy at the funeral, reminding mourners that everything dies, even potatos.
Smackdown! was quite good last night; that's two TVs in a row that the WWF hasn't sucked. I'm suddenly pretty excited about Survivor Series on Sunday, as the momentum will be there. The only question is the writing...
Today is the big meeting with Kenny at noon. Plans for that include getting a sample lease, Dan asking some questions provided by his dad, and getting something in writing that we're at least on a list for an apartment, even if we can't officially be promised Karen's place until she and Erin turn in their letter of intent to not return next year.
Later this afternoon I schedule for work next semester. Current plans are to work an extra shift every week, which shouldn't be a problem, considering I'd like another 8 AM shift. I seem to be the only one there interested in that shift...wonder why?
