As Expected
Just like I said would happen, JMU lost to Northeastern 24-17 today, in what was a surprisingly close game. An emotional outing for the band (the year's final game always is), as several Drum Majors and lots of marchers said goodbye to Bridgeforth Stadium. For the Trombone Section it was Balls Out all day long, culminating in a 100-yard end zone to end zone dash before the postgame show. My legs still hurt.
Following the game, I came back here (my room) and proposed an evening of pizza and movies to Dan. He accepted, and we invited Amanda, so we went out to rent a movie (Phantom Menace on DVD) and get some Domino's Pizza. TPM on DVD is a sight to behold; from what I understand, it's a transfer of the original digital "print," so it was basically the most crisp picture I've ever seen. The sound was pretty cool too; it really is an awesome movie. And if you haven't seen the newest trailer for AotC yet, go watch it now!
Since I can't watch the fight tonight, I'm going to spend some time on The Programming Assignment, then head over to the quad around midnight for some meteor action. It'll be early, but there's no way I'm staying up until 5 AM for the show. I'll take what I can get.
