So close to the end!
In only nine days, I'll be back home once again, and you, Constant Reader, will be without access to the Aardvark for over three weeks. There's no hope that Gondor will stay up and running during the Christmas break, so I'm not going to even bother trying. Gondor, what will I do without thee?
Since I'm looking at a full week-and-a-half of boredom at home before The Road Trip commences, I'm considering things to keep me busy. One is the obvious end-of-the-year activity, Top 5 lists. I'll probably be looking at CDs, movies, and wrestling matches, to begin with, and if I can think of anything else to rate, I will. In addition, I'll be putting the free time to learning another language in order to keep my programming skills sharp. I'll be able to install ActivePython on the home computer and just go; very convenient.
I never did complete my Formal Lab Writeup That Hates Me yesterday; actually, all I managed to do was fineagle the data a bit to make it look "right." I'll put some more time in on it today, but I'm in no hurry as the deadline was pushed back to Friday. No, my main concern today is my first final exam, in GMUS 203. Granted, it is not cumulative, and I'll probably study for 20 minutes and get an A on it, but it's still my primary concern for this afternoon.
Immediately following the exam, my primary concern shifts to Clerks. I've still not decided if I'll be at both screenings tonight; if Dan wants to go to one and Amanda wants to go to the other, I surely will go to both, but I don't think I'll watch it by myself. Mallrats, however, probably does deserve two viewings regardless of whether I'm alone.
And speaking of Kevin Smith, why in God's name am I not in New Jersey right now?! I have an opportunity to get myself and Slartibartfast (my Ford Tempo) on a Kevin Smith film, and I'm stuck in Virginia. Someday, I will be in a Kevin Smith film. Oh yes, someday.
