More Mouse Madness

While this story keeps getting funnier, it seems my family is at war as well. An email from my mom:

Last night I was sitting at the computer, and out of the corner of my eye, saw something move on the living room rug. Yes, a mouse; a very small mouse. About 1.5 inches long. It ran behind the entertainment center, and that was the end of that. Kiwi was sound asleep in her box. So much for cat and mouse! A bit later, Amy and I were watching TV, and saw it again; it ran into the kitchen and disappeared. Kiwi was still sleeping..... Before I went to bed, I went into the bathroom, and heard a noise by the bathtub. I thought Kiwi was behind the curtain. I peeked behind the curtain, and there was the baby mouse trying to get out. How it got in there, I have no idea; maybe it climbed the curtain. But it wasn't able to get out. So Dan and I put a paper bag in the bathtub, got him in there, and put him back outside. Then I went in to tell Amy that we had caught it because she was worried that Kiwi might bring it to her during the night. I found Kiwi curled up sleeping behind Amy's legs. What a cat!

No work for me this morning, so I was able to sleep until 8:30; what a treat! Of course, my first class this morning is a 100 minute lab that will probably somehow involve significant figures. Follow that up with lunch, two more classes, and marching band rehearsal. This is a Friday?!
