Here I Come, Hollywood!

Watching midgets on MTV (thanks morg), and one is wondering why midgets never get roles in movies playing "normal" people. This has inspired me to genius:

A buddy-cop movie about a pair of mismatched partners out to stop an international drug ring that has taken the daughter of the mayor of Los Angeles hostage. The catch is that the police will be played by Shaquille O'Neal and a heretofore unknown little person. The midget will be a reclusive hothead, and Shaq will have to dig deep to find what event in his past caused him to shun human contact. Turns out that the midget and Shaq are actually distantly-related third cousins, and this revelation allows the partners to become lifelong friends.

Of course, in the end, the cops will rescue the mayor's daughter and put the evil drug dealers away for a "long, long time." The best part is that it leaves the series wide open for a franchise of sequels.
