Impromptu Road Trip

A last-minute road trip yesterday prevented this site from being available (though I still don't know why) and prevented me from updating. Unfortunately, it's the first day since this site has existed (discounting vacations) that I haven't been able to write anything. So, today begins a new streak.

Left Godwin yesterday at 8 AM for Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore with Karen & Erin for Erin's fencing meet. We arrived at noon, fencing began at 1 and we stayed until 5. Erin fenced well, winning three of her nine bouts after a complete layoff from fencing of almost a year.

Following the fencing competition, we drove north about 30 minutes to Bel Air, MD: Erin's home. Met her family for the first time and ate some pizza before beginning the drive back. We didn't get back until around 11, when I promptly passed out.

Today will be spent watching football (duh) until 6, when I need to work. Damn; I really want to watch the entire St. Louis game.
