Wholesale Replacement

I've been 'threatening' to implement comments, archives, and just about any other blog feature imaginable here basically since I started this site last October, but I've always been slow. Today marks the start of a new direction for the Aardvark, as I have replaced my piddly custom-built MySQL/PHP system with Movable Type 2.0.

Parts of the new version of the site work, like comments, and the front page looks mostly like it used to, but not everything's right yet. The templates for the archives have yet to be redesigned to my complete satisfaction, and I've made no effort to test the new design in any browsers besides IE 5.5 to this point. Problems/bug reports go in the comments section.

I'm so excited.

  2. Nicely done, lad. Though I don’t think I like the gray-on-beige going on in your sidebar. Maybe it’s just my colorblind-self talking, but it just doesn’t fly with me.
