This is a new one

Went to the bank this morning to cash some checks for bowling absentee fees. We told people that if they absolutely had to write checks, to write them out to cash, because either Karen or I would be cashing them.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I can't cash these checks because they're not your checks."

Exqueeze me?

"If you write a check to cash, anyone can pick it up and cash it, so we don't cash them."

I've done it before; this is how it works.

"You haven't done it with me, and you haven't done it here. Sorry."
