Dave Chappelle
Dave Chappelle came out last night at about 10:45. He didn't leave the stage (for good) until 1 AM.
The show last night was a veritable marathon. He just kept talking, even though he didn't always make sense. He was raunchy and entirely unfit for JMU. In short, he was great.
Lines of the night: "I'm not going to leave tonight, because I am in the Shenendoah Valley. If I leave, there's nothing for me to do!" That's actually the only line I can put here; all the others are just too wrong.
"Make me a glass of Tang!"

I love The Dave Chappelle Show. I’ve come close to suffocating on his jokes because I can’t get enough air into my lungs while I’m laughing. He is a comic genius and I have always known he was funny. Nice to know he finally has his own show. I notice there was no Seattle dates on his tour list. Is there a chance he might perform here in the near future? We would love to see him.
I’ve been trying to get his HBO comedy special, but no one has it. If you know where I buy it, please let me know. He seems like a great guy and in my opinion one of the funniest men in comedy today, him and Mario Cantone. Hopefully you can have those two (Dave & Mario) do an hour comedy special on Comedy Central. Just a thought. If you talk to Dave, tell him Patricia Brown in Seatte thinks he’s GRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT !
