I found that thread hilarious, and I could definitely relate to alot of them. It was good to read right after getting home from work. I have to say there are two things I can think of off the top of my head that I really hate. One is vomit..the smell really gets me….the other is post-operative breath; it’s really gross!! Everyone should be handed a toothbrush and toothpaste immediately after surgery.

AJ-I work with your mom and she was nice enough to share this website with me. I can do vomit and sputum, but cheesy green vaginal secretions do me in. Also, once in nursing school I had to take care of an older woman with breast cancer who had refused treatment. The cancer had eaten away her breast completely, and there was just pus and blood and gross tissue left. That was 23 years ago and I can still see it in my mind. Eye surgery is disgusting too, they stick these these ten foot needles in around the eye to paralyze the muscles-yuck!!! In nursing school, I saw an autopsy on someone who had been hit by a train-it was real Silence of the Lambs stuff. Fortunately, Westwood can’t hold a candle to Philadelphia for gross stuff. Barb
