Makeshift

I am totally unwilling to go a day without blogging so long as I am physically able. So until I put myself in a position where I may install Movable Type on a machine that is visible to the rest of the web browsing public, I will utilize this plain-text method of blogging. No archives for now, but I'll integrate these entries with the real thing once that works again.

Day two of work today; I got a new computer. An upgrade from a Cyrix 6x86MX (!) to a P3-500 is a big deal. Fortunately, with the proliferation of laptops in the office, some no longer need their desktops. I reap the benefits.

There's something drastically wrong with my car. Hopefully it's only the crud that had gathered on the positive terminal of the battery. We'll see tomorrow morning whether it starts or not. We'll also see if I manage to get myself out of bed for my planned first day of jogging. God, I want to get in shape this summer.

Went bowling tonight, subbing for my brother (who missed due to his fire classes). Bowled great, helping my family's team to tie for fourth in their league. 235-190-205-630. Quite respectable.
