The coolest thing I have ever seen

Apparently I had no idea what I was talking about before. Mark says: "No, no, that's the cool part: the bookmarklets work with the news aggregators that already exist. The aggregators themselves could be updated to auto-discover a site's RSS feed on their own, but the bookmarklets work today."

And they really do. I've never used AmphetaDesk before, but I had it downloaded, installed, and subscribed to my site within 10 minutes. I don't believe I have ever been more bleeding-edge than I am right now; this stuff just started yesterday!

One small note, though, Mark: the code you provided for Movable Type templates is not quite XHTML valid; you left off the trailing slash. But anyone who concerns themselves with that sort of thing probably realized that anyway.
