Constitutional Dictatorship

From CNN: a discussion on the possibility of America becoming a Constitutional Dictatorship in the coming years.

The possibilities of the "War on Terror" escalating in the next 12-18 months are the biggest reason to exercise great caution in bestowing "war powers" upon the President today. Any steps we take now to make the Executive branch more powerful now will be seen as insubstantial after the next terror attack, and calls will be made for increased presidential powers.
