Parade Report

Spent the day at the New York & New Jersey parade in Hillsdale. This year featured fewer towns than usual, which resulted in a parade of only about 90 minutes. Just the same, it was fun, as Woodcliff Lake took 2nd place marching, 2nd place pumper, and 1st place band.

Today was Karen's first experience with a competitive parade; she described it as a "band competiton, but with big trucks." Can't really argue with her.

After the awards were distributed, Karen and I rode back to the firehouse on 72; w00t!
