A Trip to the Library
My impending 10-day stint at Ortley Beach means lots and lots of reading. I went to pick up a book or two at the library tonight and wound up with six (in four volumes).
Piers Anthony - Total Recall. Dan said the book was way better than the movie (which I must admit, I like quite a bit). He's always told me to give Piers Anthony a try, so I don't really feel I can go wrong. Here's hoping.
Isaac Asimov - The Foundation Trilogy. One of those sci-fi classics that I never got around to reading. Until now.
Ralph Ellison - Flying Home and Other Stories. I read a couple of these stories in English this past semester, and they were among the few that I enjoyed. Short stories rock at the beach.
Sean Flannery - Winner Take All. Karen chose this at random off the shelf, and I accepted the challenge to read it. Looks very Clancy-ish (which I like).
