A Thought

I was reading an article in Newsweek last night about the prisoners at Guantanamo, and it's apparent that nobody in the Government really knows what to do with them (beyond letting them rot there, for now). It seems to me that the best thing we could do at this point is do what Joe McCarthy used to do back in the 50s: make a big deal about lengthy closed-door "interrogation" sessions with each prisoner. At the conclusion of each, we let them go, send them on their way, and announce that we're "very pleased" with the outcome of the meeting. Anyone we let go will be disowned by their respective terrorist organizations, and the potential innocents (as I am sure there are more than a few) will return home.
