Moving On

Tonight I will begin the attempt to pick up the pieces from my hard drive meltdown. I have purchased (and received) a Western Digital Caviar Special Edition 120 GB with an 8 MB buffer. I foresee a lengthy install-and-patch process involving me, Gondor, Windows 2000, three small hamsters, a shoehorn, four slightly-larger hamsters, seven candles, and The Book of E-Ville. But I digress.

I also went ahead and picked up a Plextor 40/12/40A to function as a backup facilitator. I shall never again be caught with my pants down.
