The Ultimate Sunday

Back when I was in high school (and dating to long before that), I would always dread Sunday evenings. No matter what had gone on during the weekend, I would never be able to shake the feeling of impending doom, the coming week of school that lay ahead of me. The feeling gradually disappeared during senior year, and it has not haunted me in college.

Until today.

All day, I've felt doom. In my head, I know that I'll be getting my own apartment, I've got a great class schedule, I'll be working, and I'll once again get to hang out with Dan and Amanda on a regular basis. In my heart, I simply don't want summer to be over.

Summer is over.

  1. Doom, such a depressing term. You will be sorely missed in NJ…relative humidity on an average of 96%…but the springtime of your junior year awaits you….have an absolutely fabulous third year…just don’t let it be the remake of Animal House!! Have a blast!! See you in Oct.
    Love you lots…xxxoo

  2. Good luck with the new school year. You know I’ll be kept up to date by the aardvark, but please don’t be a stranger…drop me a line every once in awhile. Tell Karen and Dan I said hi. Nina

  3. Dude, I know exactly what you mean. By the time X-files was over on Sunday night, I was so depressed about going back to school. I can’t believe it didn’t follow you to college. It sure has me.

This summer being over really sucks for me, too. We both have awesome things going for us. I think we’re just in denial or something.

But it will be awesome to hang out again, because I really miss the constant contact with you guys. So yay for that.
