Gainfully Employed

As I mentioned earlier (and then failed to elaborate upon), I've been looking for a job. Not actively, that is, because I already have two (one as a lab manager, and one doing random stuff for CSC from here). But there was an email sent to the CS majors here:

A peer mentor/tutor is needed to work with a small number of first-year students as part of a new scholarship program. The mentor/tutor will meet with each of the students involved in the program on a weekly basis and will provide advice and assistance as needed by individual students. The mentor/tutor will maintain fixed office hours (five hours per week) at times that are mutually convenient.

The ideal candidate will be a successful Computer Science major with good interpersonal skills and the desire to help other students.

Salary is $7.50 per hour / five hours per week.

Upon reading the job description, I shouted (mentally) "That's me!" So I went for an interview and crossed my fingers.

I was formally offered the position on Friday, and I have accepted. So now I have three jobs.
