Happy Labor Day - Not
Why is it that everyone respects labor day but JMU? While most other Americans are enjoying a long weekend, I'm up at 6:45, working in a virtually dead computer lab.
It's affecting everyone on campus. When I left work at 10 last night, there was a guy sitting in the lab with stacks of CDs around him and a Discman blaring through his headphones. I came in at 8 AM this morning to find him asleep in his spot. I wonder how long he worked until he passed out.

Not everyone enjoyed a long weekend; I worked 8 hours today (overtime rate, of course). But it didn’t matter too much here; it’s been cold and rainy all day. Happy Labor Day!
