MTV Invades JMU
People on the newer side of campus were treated--or subjected, depending on your viewpoint--to a taping of MTV's I Bet You Will. For those who have never seen the show, it involves offering fame-starved types small ($10-$300) amounts of cash in exchange for doing embarassing, gross, sickening, awful things (or any combination thereof).
I was in class during most of the taping, but I was able to catch twenty minutes of it while outside "on assignment" for Geography. Amanda and I walked up in time to catch a girl drinking goldfish for US$200. Afterward, I heard guys saying "I need to get her phone number." I couldn't figure out why anyone would be turned on by swallowing goldfish whole.
"They're probably just interested in what she can fit down her throat," said Amanda. Excellent observation.
I was told that the episode shot today will air 23 November at 5:30 PM. Check it out if you're into that sort of thing.

I’ve watched that show before, AJ. There was one where a guy had to work out for 15 minutes, and then another guy had to lick his armpit…Ewww!! It’s a pretty good show, besides the fact that it’s kind of discusting! Hehe.
