Counting Sheep But Running Out

I had a really hard time sleeping last night, and looking back, it's been that way for at least three nights now. I wake up several times during the night, toss for a few minutes, think to myself "I'll never get back to sleep," then am unconscious within sixty seconds. This has happened for the past three nights (at least) at almost exactly 4 AM.

What's even weirder is the circumstances of my waking up this morning. I was in the middle of some dream where I was trapped in a basement by spiderwebs when I abruptly woke up. The clock said 7:15, so I jumped out of bed, but I was really not awake. It's 9:50 now, and I still feel like I'm asleep. What the hell is going on?
