I Didn't Lose My Spine
If you've been watching the site, you may have noticed that the number of comments on the most popular post this site has ever seen has dropped by one. I have given into no demands or gone against any of my principles, but I did receive an email from a poster requesting that a post filled largely with personal attacks be dropped. Because this did not constitute censorship on my part, but rather a legitimate attempt at contrition by one who let himself get a little out of hand yesterday, I complied.
In the future, I would rather not weed out posts at the requests of authors. If you posted something here that you regret having said, apologize; better yet, think twice before posting in anger (a lesson we can all learn from). What is done cannot be undone. Let it go.
Hopefully this will be the last statement made about the events of the last 48 hours. DUKES!
