One Fifteen

This week's Sports Illustrated ranks all 324 Division I schools on their sports programs overall. James Madison is number 115. Reads the blurb:

Dukes made NCAA baseball regionals; spelunking club explores Virginia caves; more sports (28) than most schools

We beat out schools such as St. John's, UMASS, and VCU, but you've got to wonder how long that can continue, especially with the potential 15% budget cut coming down the pipe.

On an unrelated note, the blurb about Tech (ranked 78) brags about their football crowds doing the Hokey Pokey between the third and fourth quarters. If I went to Tech, I'd be doing everything in my power to keep it quiet. I wouldn't want anyone to find out about the dance either.
