The Switch Begins

My brother IM'd me this morning asking what it would cost for him to get a computer. I asked the standard questions: "What do you want it for," "How long do you want it to last," etc. Then I dropped this bombshell: "Would you consider a Mac?"

To my surprise, he said yes.

He's never used one before, and was wary of learning a new system, but I suggested he head on over to the local Apple Store, hanging out, talking to the employees, playing with one for a while, and thinking it over.

He fell in love.

My family has begun its migration from the Beast of Redmond to the Cuddly Friend of Cupertino. It's only a matter of time now. There will be no Windows XP in my home!
