Stop with the Fucking Spam Already!

I woke up the other day with an odd looking dialog box on my computer screen. Apparently some sort of ad for purchasing a diploma, it looked like an admin-type Windows alert. It seemed like it was something that would be caused by a program like Kazaa, but I don't run that. I didn't think too hard about it, because I clicked OK and it went away.

Later that morning, I noticed that most of the computers in the lab where I work had the same message displayed. I got a little suspicious, but I figured it was something that went wrong on the University's network.

Turns out that it's not JMU-specific; it's the latest exploit of a dumb-as-fuck default Windows setting.

I swear to Christ, as soon as I have the financial means, I am switching and never looking back. If my roommate and my brother can both do it in the space of a few weeks, so can I.
