Anything But Plain

Amanda was playing a game awhile ago and someone asked, "Why do people think that vanilla is the opposite of chocolate?" I commented that the opposite of chocolate is probably suck.

The question, though, is an interesting one. Vanilla and chocolate are probably considered opposites because of their color, but their flavors are reasonably similar (i.e. sweet). Just the same, I've always been a chocolate fan. I drown my ice cream in chocolate syrup and mix it to make soup, and Klines' chocolate is To Die For. Vanilla has always taken a back seat to chocolate in my eyes.

No more. Bring on the vanilla.
