Quick Links for a Slow Day

Haven't done this for awhile; here's a few quick stories I've read today.

• The Google Zeitgeist is out for 2002. Turns out that curling really is the most popular olympic sport! [via Simon Willison]
• The referendum to make desperately needed upgrades to my alma mater was soundly defeated. That place really is going to hell. No matter to me; I went to the wrong high school anyway.
• We're supposed to be the good guys. Please don't watch, it's just embarassing.
