Jake Gyllenhaal is fast becoming one of my favorite actors.

That's pretty impressive for a guy who I couldn't pick out of a lineup only three short months ago. But since then, I've seen three of his movies and fallen in love with at least one of them.

The most recent was Moonlight Mile, a film featuring another one of my favorite actors, Dustin Hoffman. It was heavy, emotionally draining, and excellent. And it wouldn't have worked without Jake Gyllenhaal.
