On the Super Bowl

I probably shouldn't be surprised that the game was so disappointing. I made my pick on the basis of Super Bowl XXXV, where I learned the hard way, once and for all, that defense wins championships. They may not be pretty, but that's the way it works.

Congratulations, Jon Gruden and company. Enjoy it while it lasts, because there's no such thing as a dynasty in the NFL.
