John Cusack: Good and Bad

I saw High Fidelity for the first time on Thursday night and loved it. So much, in fact, that I told Amanda afterward that I'd watch any John Cusack movie she chose, up to and including Serendipity (a film I had heretofore avoided). Other John Cuscak movies I have seen and liked include Say Anything, Being John Malkovich, and Grosse Point Blank (I'd include Con Air as well, but I'd hardly call that a "John Cusack Movie").

Last night, Amanda and I rented Money for Nothing, a film about which we had heard nothing. Unfortunately, it failed to hold our interest for more than about 30 minutes, and was uncerimoniously turned off. We'll mark that one down with America's Sweethearts.
