The End of Music Trading?

The Boston Globe is running an article on plans by Clear Channel to record and sell live music within minutes of the end of a concert. What impact wil this have on the bands that have open taping policies? Clear Channel is purchasing more and more venues, and is poised to become the Ticketmaster of the next decade. I'd never have heard of several of my favorite bands had it not been for the free trading of their live music; what do I have to look forward to?
