Marching Band Schedule: 2003
September ritual in the Schuster household used to be the Firefighter's Convention in Wildwood. That came to an end three years ago, when I came to school and had other commitments on September weekends. I made it to Wildwood for a couple days a year and a half ago after our games were cancelled due to September 11, but I missed it again this year. So, it was with much anticipation that I opened the email attachment titled "Tentative 2003 MRD Schedule" today.
As it turns out, I have the weekend of September 12-14 free: I will once again be in attendance at Wildwood! But wait, there's more.
This year is the year that the JMU Dukes travel to Virginia Tech for a game against the Hokies. Mark your calendars, folks: the slaughter is set for September 6. Yeah, our band is totally going to kick their band's collective asses.
Even more exciting is that there is also no football game scheduled for the weekend of September 26-28, as I'll be travelling home with Amanda to attend the Bloomsburg Fair. w00t!
