Radio Loves Norah Jones

The radio has been on in the office since 9 AM, and I'm listening to Norah Jones sing Don't Know Why for the second time already. Other notable songs I've heard today (can you tell I never listen to radio except WFAN when the Mets are playing?):

  • The Verve - Freshmen (I haven't heard this song in ages)
  • Coldplay - Clocks (YES!)
  • Vertical Horizon - Everything You Want (Overplayed in its time, but still an awesome song)
  • Katarina and the Waves - Walking on Sunshine (I'll never understand why this song gets all the airtime that it does)
  • Mayer - Wonderland (Barf.)

Speaking of Coldplay, they're on Conan tonight, along with Tina Fey and Joe Pantoliano. Should be a kickass show.

Later: I feel so cheated. Not only is Coldplay not on tonight's episode, but they've been replaced by the fantastically mediocre Matchbox 20. What a waste.

  1. I don’t know what you have against John Mayer. He’s a hottie.

  2. Just thought I’d let you know “The Freshmen” is by The Verve Pipe, not The Verve. The Verve had a hit with “Bittersweet Symphony,” also a great song. However, The Verve Pipe, in my opinion, are a much better band. Anyway, just wanted to clarify.

(Oh, and I, too, was disappointed that Coldplay wasn’t on that episode of Conan.)
