At The Met

I lucked out today and got something I didn't think I'd get for another four days: time with Amanda. She and her mom came out to visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art and invited me to tag along; I could hardly pass it up. I don't pretend to know a whole lot about art, but I saw a lot today that blew my mind, from the Da Vinci exhibit to a vampire painting in the European section (Munch's Vampire) to a painting of a cow examining a painting of cows in the Modern Art area (God, I wish I could remember the name) and everything in between.

Got a great laugh out of a Fox News Channel billboard on the Henry Hudson Parkway: "Fox News: Fair and Balanced!"

A day spent among beautiful art, with the most beautiful woman I know. Nothing could have been better.
