Not Quite The Cherry Blossoms

Dan, Amanda and I went to Washington, DC yesterday. Our stated mission was to view the much-vaunted Cherry Blossoms, but we missed peak bloom by a few days. No matter: we went to the National Zoo, then walked around the Mall and the Tidal Basin for many, many hours.

Dan, in true Dan fashion of late, took some extraordinary photographs. He's graciously allowed me to post a selection here (since removed) (there are actually many more). I'm the dork with the green-tinted hair.
