Bergen County's Book of the Day
The link won't mean anything after today (because there will be no evidence that it ever happened, besides this writing), but the Bergen County Library System's Book Of The Day is Neil Gaiman's Stardust. It's no lie: this book rocks (have I said it before? I don't recall...no, I suppose I haven't). It looks, however, like all the editions they offer come without Charles Vess' insanely great illustrations. The story is incredible, but the "graphic" portions of the "graphic novel" made it that much more so. In fact, they (among other things) inspired me to put together a desktop background. I may make it available here later.
Later: I've been really self-conscious about this for awhile, but I figure I'll put the Stardust wallpaper up. As fas as I know, it's fair use of the pictures and text. The wallpaper itself, as it is (I think) a creative work, is licensed under the same terms as the rest of the blog. Enjoy.
