Making My Voice Heard

My mom got a call tonight from a pollster at Quinnipiac University, and promptly handed off the phone to me. It took a good ten minutes to get through all the questions, and it felt good to make some of my thoughts known.

Most of the questions focused on whether I approved of how the governor, state legislature, and the our two Senators are handling their jobs. One was on whether I thought the Nets and Devils should move to Newark or stay in the Meadowlands. Several were on who I would most like to see the Democrats nominate for the Presidential election next year (go John Edwards!). The most satisfying question and answer, however, came when she asked, "Do you approve or disapprove of the way George W. Bush is handling his job?" For once, a simple complaint will be counted.
