It's Been Over 48 Hours

Since yesterday afternoon, the pain in my jaw has steadily decreased, while the swelling has remained roughly constant. I slept through the night without waking up to take any medication, but felt uncomfortable enough this morning following breakfast to take a Vicodin. That, in retrospect, may have been a big mistake, as I feel like I've been hit by a bullet train since then. It's all I can do to keep my eyes open.

I continue to be paranoid about getting food stuck in the wounds, so I'm rinsing with warm saltwater nearly religously. I'm also paranoid about puncturing the sinus with a mistimed sneeze or breath. So far, I don't think either has actually been an issue.
