Going Down The Shore
I'm leaving for vacation in about 9 hours, and I've still got quite a bit of packing to do. I should get on that.
And just as things are really getting interesting, I'll be gone for a week. I'm bringing my computer, but I almost certainly won't be doing any work on anything of consequence. My real hope is to read the new Harry Potter book, then read the copy of Tom Clancy's Red Rabbit I got for Christmas. Can't beat Clancy for beach reading.

Sorry, but Clancy’s Red Rabbit is the worst of all Clancys (if you except the ones he only sticks his name on but obviously has’nt written nor even read).
I have read all TC’s, & enjoyed myself, but can’t get myself to finish this one. Well you can give it a trial on the beach, but bring a newspaper along…
And you are correct…I’m about halfway through, and already wondering how I’ll finish it. I will finish it, though, as I have a hard time putting down a book without knowing how it ends.
