Hypothetically Speaking

So let's say there's this guy. We'll call him Guy.

Guy has been told by another guy (we'll call him Another Guy, for simplicity's sake) that the Company needs, for actual, real-world, solid Technical Reasons, to take over their own webhosting. Guy says to Another Guy, Sure, I can do that, but then Another Guy hits Guy with this: "We also need to take over and run our own email system."

Guy has used email before, but never actually administered an email system. Guy needs to become proficient in administering a corporate email system (preferably a Free one) within a few weeks, preferably sooner.

What would you say to Guy?

  2. I’d say Guy should look into getting a less generic name if he really wants to be an up-and-comer in today’s dynamic workplace.
