Ben Folds - Rockin' The Suburbs

I probably listened to this record over a hundred times before I ever knew what I was listening to. Freshman year of college, Dan and I had an unspoken agreement that, if one of us had music on, the other would not put on music of their own. This exposed me to a hell of a lot more music than I ever would have found on my own, and this CD was one of them.

I liked what I heard, and I may even have asked a few times what he was listening to, but it never really registered. Sometime in sophomore year, I asked him to burn me a copy of it, and I listened to it during one of my long drives home. Within a few weeks I had bought a copy of my own.
