Ben Kweller - Sha Sha
Last summer, Dan and I visited Amanda in Pennsylvania. While there, she played two CDs in her car; one was Sha Sha. I'd heard of Ben Kweller before, and actually tried to see him play at CB's 313, but I'd never heard anything by him. We rocked out all over Bloomsburg and the surrounding area, and I found the CD for US$10 at CD World a few weeks later.
We saw him play at the 9:30 Club earlier this year, and while I wasn't all that impressed with the live show, his enthusiasm was fairly contagious. Keep an eye on this guy.

I remember Amanda playing “Wasted & Ready” for me and saying, “Hmm, this is pretty good!” but it wasn’t until we went to the beach (and subsequently to the Stash) and I heard more of the album that I could finally pronounce Ben Kweller as “rockin!”
