Santana - Supernatural

Santana - Supernatural If Third Eye Blind was the soundtrack of the summer of 1998, Supernatural was the soundtrack of the summer of 1999. I saw Santana open for Dave Matthews Band (surprise!) at both Giants Stadium shows (May 25 and 26, 1999), and thoroughly enjoyed their sets; when this record came out a few weeks later, I was one of the first on line to pick it up. Naturally, I got it especially for Love of My Life (on which Mr. Matthews guested), but fell in love with most of the record.

I told my brother to listen to Maria, Maria shortly after I got it, and he brushed it off, said he didn't enjoy it. A few months later, when it was on the radio nonstop, I heard him listening to the mp3 as I walkled past the computer.

  2. It’s true, this record was completely raped by radio. I haven’t listened to it in I don’t know how long thanks to radio.
