Train - Drops of Jupiter
The Summer of 2001 did not have a single soundtrack of its own; it had two. The first was Train's Drops of Jupiter. The songs on this record I associate strongly with riding the train to and from Hoboken every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I listened to it in the office, as well, but I don't think of that as much as I do the train. Strange.
Amanda hates Train, which is why I'm a little sad that I can't share these particular memories with her. Ah well, at least we have 90% of our other musical tastes in common.

I’m a Train fan, though I enjoy their first album more than this one. And they have a new one out now - have you heard it?
Haven’t heard the new one yet. It’s also on my list.
Erin and I were in Fire & Ice today, and Train came on the radio. I almost threw up my gelatto. Erin will agree with me that Train does, indeed, suck.
