Hootie and the Blowfish - Cracked Rear View
I listened to this for hours on end while playing Nintendo with the volume down, learning the lyrics by osmosis. I credit the extensive sing-along sessions with my ability to sing baritone parts.
Some years after this record was released, before their second record came out, Karen went to the city with a friend and saw them live. And now they have a new record coming out (or out already, I'm not sure), I may need to try to see them somewhere cheap.

As I recall, my Dad was REALLY into this record.
I should give him my copy, because I don’t listen to it anymore.
I don’t either. But we’ve already learned that it doesn’t pay to give away old CDs you no longer think you’ll listen to.
