Meat Loaf - Bat Out Of Hell

Meat Loaf - Bat Out Of Hell I first heard this CD--specifically, Paradise By The Dashboard Light--at my Aunt Ellen's house down the shore. I don't know how it started, but my dad and uncle were talking about this record, and Uncle Dave put it on. I know that my brother loved it, and Dad bought him a copy (which I inherited later when my brother became too cool to like music from the 70s).

It's not a great CD; there are seven tracks, and I usually listen to four or five when I play it. But the songs I do play are absolute rock and roll classics.

Comments and Trackbacks

  1. I don’t like meatloaf.

    To eat.

    Or listen to.

  2. See, this is why you think I don’t like 70s music. You pick Meatloaf! I mean, c’mon! Good 70s music is Bowie, The Clash, Led Zeppelin, etc. :P

  3. Did I say there’s anything wrong with any of those bands?

  4. No, but those are 70s acts that I’m behind. So I’m not sour on all 70s music, just some of it.
